Smokin at the Track was started with one goal in mind. To bring the fans of auto racing and Bar-B-Que together for a great time during a race weekend. It all started in the Fall of 2014 at a race weekend. The smell of smoke in the air, the roar of race cars, and the cheers of thousands of passionate fans were all that it took to set in motion the plan of bringing race fans the next level of race weekend enjoyment, “Quetainment”.
Smokin’ at the Track brings the passion of racing and Bar-B-Que together with professional demonstrations, corporate entertainment/catering, “Que Classes”, bonfires, and state of the art equipment, creating a track experience like no other. Creating the one and only… “Quetainment”.

Pitmaster Rodney Renner developed a love for cooking at an early age and has honed his skills on both the backyard and professional level throughout the years. He turned his love for barbeque into a recipe for success making his mark on the cooking circuit for several years with a competition team and has several awards and credits to his name. His love for cooking and passion for track racing spans his entire life making him a perfect partner in a race-based operation.
William "Bubba" Latimer

Bubba holds the prestigious title of #1 BBQ Pitmaster 4 years in a row on The National BBQ Rankings. His family owns two BBQ restaurants in GA, Woodstock and the original in Jasper. He has entered over 400 contests, winning 45 Grand Champions, 33 Reserve Grand Champions and won over 600 awards in the 4 different meat categories (chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket). Bubba has also attained the very prestigious win of which all 4 meat categories were swept against over 50 other teams resulting in a Grand Champion victory. They have been featured on Food Network, TLC, Travel Channel and created championship BBQ rubs and sauces under the label Bub-Ba-Q.
Jeffrey A. Renner
Jeffrey A. Renner recently joined Smokin at the Track BBQ as a Partner. His entrepreneurial spirit, along with the desire to provide a high quality sandwich to the people of NASCAR, captured his interest. Renner is primarily responsible for brand marketing, sponsorship development, contract management, and the management of all on-site sales staff. Prior to joining Smokin at the Track, Renner was principal of a real estate development firm. He holds an M.B.A. degree from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO and a B.A. in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. When not thinking about how to build a better sandwich, he enjoys physical fitness, biking, water skiing, and snow skiing.
These guys come together to form the “Dream Team” in the BBQ world. They travel with one truck, one 42’ RV, one supply trailer, and one 44’ x 8’ Rig that opens up into BBQ heaven… fitted with top of the line equipment, and a state of the art full kitchen. So… There is plenty of real estate on these four units for your company to be seen all over the United States!
